The Ability

a poetic response to "The Metaphor"


The "ability",
to hide our inner feelings and thoughts,
has been passed down from generation to generation.

The "ability",
is a disease that has an incubation period,
and started to show symptoms as we grow older.

The "ability",
is a bad capability,
because of the possibility,
of having a future calamity;

And eventually, 
we will have a epiphany,
of the world's cruelty, 
and will want to escape from this reality.
